Tailor-Made Programmes

NOTE: In the course of 2005 EATI will end its activities.

Introduction

The European Addiction Training Institute organizes training sessions within the framework of the grants awarded by the European Commission and the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports. These grants have made it possible to develop various training formats to use the expertise of renowned European addiction professionals and, not least significantly, to minimize the costs of participating in the training sessions.

The expertise and experience generated during the development and implementation of the EATI training sessions can be made available to suit your specific educational needs. Experience in international consultation can also be made available.

Tailor-made training programmes and consultation activities in the field of addiction can be offered to you by expert trainers and consultants of the European Addiction Training Institute.
The topics may include:

  • Training programmes on the spot. Subjects and training formats, based on the EATI training programmes, will be geared to your specific needs.
  • International consultancy reports on national addiction issues, including advice and assistance in implementing policy plans.
  • Specific knowledge and experience is available on various subjects. These subjects include, among others, expertise on:
    • Consultant advice on training and education
    • Prevention
    • Research
    • Gambling
    • Training and educational materials

In principle, these programmes can be implemented anywhere inside or outside the Member States of the European Union. EATI will draw up an offer that suits specific consultation and/or educational needs.

Workshops and training courses

EATI offers various training courses and workshops in a cost-effective manner. This means that in general none of the existing funding resources from the European Commission and/or the Dutch Ministry for Health, Welfare and Sports will be used to organize these sessions. Prices for participants will be kept as low as possible, by means of cost-effective planning, sponsorship and pilot-funding.

Please contact the EATI Staff Office for more information, application or a tailor-made proposal.
